Aurora Borealis

In the spring and summer of 2024, millions of people around the world witnessed the stunning display of the Aurora Borealis in the skies.

Some saw science.

Some saw beauty.

Some saw evidence of God.

Everyone saw something.

The science is: The sun had a series of major solar storms with extreme solar flares and geomagnetic components collided with earth’s atmosphere.*

The beauty is: Undeniable. Other-worldly, yet real and on display like liquid colors moving across the skies.

The evidence of God is: …well everyone can agree on the science and beauty part, but now there’s a fork in the road. Some believe this is true and others don’t.

Some people say, ”I would need to see evidence of God to believe in Him.” If that’s where you are today, here’s a question for you to think about:

How big would the sign need to be for you to believe God is real?

As big as this?

As small as this?

As personal as this?

If these don’t speak to your heart and mind, maybe you haven’t paused to really think about it. Why don’t you believe God is real? What is stopping you?

Actually seeing something with our own eyes that’s bigger than ourselves, that originated beyond earth – but came to earth – is powerful evidence that there’s more than our human minds can know or control.

When we believe God exists, it opens a spiritual door in our soul that had previously been closed. We can see more, like this verse from the book of James in the New Testament says:

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.“   James 1:17 (NLT)

God is God. Eternal, living, all-powerful, yet He is reaching out to us with His love, always calling for us to look up and see Him. His evidence is everywhere if we choose to believe. It’s God who is the Creator of science and beauty – the Aurora Borealis and YOU!

RESET HIGHER: When you look at the world, what do you see? Who do you see? Has your perspective changed?
