Welcome Everyone!
This project began as the result of facing and sorting through a series of events in my life. They weren’t short and easy to “fix.” They were hard and difficult. We all have them. For me, they were things like caring for a parent for seven years, the death of my best friend, and a cancer diagnosis and surgery. As I was out walking my dog early one morning, I thought about the options to get through what I was currently experiencing, plus find healthy perspective about what I’d already been through. I could give up (but that’s not me), do a reset, or better yet meet each challenge and reset HIGHER. I chose to reset higher, open my heart to God on a deeper level, and then started writing about it.
When I made the choice to use challenges to stretch my faith, it felt like I got a membership in “God’s Gym.” He was like a personal spiritual trainer who built my strength from the inside out. I made the daily choice to trust Him 100% – not give in to anxiety or fear or live in the past. I found blessings I wouldn’t have otherwise seen or experienced. It changed me. For good.
I’m here to encourage you, because we ALL face minor to major challenges in our lives, whether relationships, financial, health, or others. I’ve been there too. What we do with them makes all the difference. Whether or not you’re a Christian or a believer in God right now, you’re here for a reason. Open your heart, mind and spirit. Ask God to guide you and experience what He does in your life.
