RESET HIGHER: As a person who believes in God the Creator, I watched this video and wondered how anyone would ever try and explain this process “just evolved by chance.” Trees all over the world have been designed for a purpose. They not only supply much of the oxygen we breathe, they provide so many other things like wood, paper, homes for birds and other creatures, shade in the summer, and the list goes on.

Incredibly, they can also sense that winter is coming, so they go into survival strategy mode and store their chemicals until spring. Who taught trees how to do this? Who gives life to new seeds and sprouts in the spring that turn into other trees? The “simple,” awe-inspiring answer is: God does.

As we see the beauty of this season and the cycle of life happening before our eyes, here’s a thought.

I have a friend who has a little stained glass apple hanging on the window in her kitchen. It reads, “Only God can count the apples in one seed.” Our lives are like that too. When one season ends, another takes its place with a new purpose. God can use each one to produce more fruit in our lives – to share!
