RESET HIGHER: Did this true story amaze you? It amazed me! We are still discovering the genius of what God has created. Above ground on the surface, we see life the human way. But this is an example of how what we can’t see, or haven’t seen yet, is also real and miraculous!
It further illustrates how our theories and opinions aren’t always correct. Now we’re learning that trees aren’t competing for survival alone. As the film says, “they are thriving together in cooperative, mutually beneficial relationships.”
It reminds me of these verses in 1 Corinthians 12:24b-27 (NIV) that speak about the community of Christian believers and God’s plan of support for everyone:
“But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
If trees can work together, we can too – by connecting to God’s love and sharing it with the world.
